Roche NimbleGen has developed a suite of software tools to facilitate the data pipeline from array design to image extraction and analysis to the graphical display and browsing of large datasets. The software has been designed with the objectives of ease of use, easy to understand graphical interfaces and conformance to industry standard file formats for large genomic datasets.

  • DEVA automates the feature extraction, primary data analysis, and visualization process for Roche NimbleGen arrays. Using Roche NimbleGen design files and scanned array images, DEVA software will automatically detect new scanned array images, process them, and run the analyses.
  • NEW! Nexus software from BioDiscovery provides advanced microarray analysis tools for CGH, Cytogenetics, and Gene Expression customers. Nexus Copy Number Standard provides the basic statistical tools for copy number analysis. Nexus Copy Number Discovery includes additional computational modules for advanced analysis. Nexus Expression provides a streamlined, simple, and powerful solution for gene and RNA expression analysis.
  • NimbleScan gives high-volume users their own array data pipeline. Input array images and NimbleScan can automatically place an accurately aligned grid and extract data from 1 or 2 color images. Advanced reporting capabilities provide application-specific analysis of array datasets for easy interpretation of experimental results.
  • SignalMap provides a simple browsing interface for NimbleGen applications where data is mapped to genomic tracks.
  • Partner Solutions are downstream analysis software packages developed by third-party vendors. They can be used to further interrogate data generated from Roche NimbleGen’s high-density microarray platform and analyzed by NimbleScan.
