Description

DEVA software is a computer application that automates the feature extraction, primary data analysis, and visualization process for Roche NimbleGen arrays. Using Roche NimbleGen design files and scanned array images, DEVA software will automatically detect new scanned array images, process them, and run the analyses.

Images generated by the NimbleGen MS 200 Microarray Scanner can be deposited in a location on a networked drive that is available to the computer running DEVA software. DEVA software automatically monitors the image directory and, after loading the design files, imports the images. By matching the barcode of the image with the barcode of the design file, the software automatically performs the bursting, aligning, and feature extraction functions. Next, DEVA software will perform the analysis that you chose for each application.

At the end of the automated process, you will have analyzed data that you can review in the data viewer, eliminating the manual processing steps that are currently needed for NimbleGen array data. In addition, you can view associated annotation files in the same data viewer and map your data to annotations.

The more arrays that you run, the more savings that you can realize from DEVA software. You will reduce the labor cost per array and eliminate many of the manual data processing steps.
