NimbleGen One-Color DNA Labeling kits (24 and 96 reactions) are designed for convenient and efficient labeling of cDNA samples prior to hybridization to NimbleGen microarrays for Gene Expression analysis. This kit is based on Cy3-random priming and uses a high concentration of exo- Klenow, lacking both proofreading (3’→ 5’) and nick translation(5’ → 3’) nuclease activities, to incorporate dNTPs while replicating the cDNA.
The new labeling kits offer several content and protocol improvements over the older kit: optimized Cy3- random primers, and a simplified “Stop Solution” (used for terminating the labeling reaction) which is now added in a single step. This optimized and streamlined protocol leads to more robust labeling yields, improved signal to noise ratios (CGH/CNV), and will enable you to achieve a higher-throughput yet economical sample analysis. When used in combination with the NimbleGen Hybridization and Wash Buffer kits, the DNA Labeling kits ensure high signal-to-noise ratios and highly sensitive signals for NimbleGen Gene Expression microarray applications.
